Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue Donor Network that is not-for-profit organ procurement organization. The organization is in charge of coordinating organ and tissue donations. They also work educating the public in Northwest Indiana and Illinois on organ and tissue donations. They currently are working with 180 hospitals and serve 12 million people. Their responsibilities include but are not limited too evaluating potential donors, coordinating the donation process, educating residents about organ and tissue donation and how to register, and providing support to and follow-up to families of organ and tissue donors. Gift of Hope helps with the entire process of organ and tissue donation, they also take monetary funds. You are also able to volunteer with the organization to make a difference. They provide detailed information on how donations work, FAQs, funeral and service professionals and faith communities.
