While hooked up at a campsite, you can enjoy the convection oven/microwave and stay cool with air conditioning without the need for a generator. When dry camping AC and microwaves will only work with the generator on. Absolutely no offroad camping. The bottom of the generator is 7 inch from the floor and will get damaged.
