A lot of people suffer from fatty livers these days. It happens because there is an accumulation of fat in the liver cells. When it comes to fatty liver issues; there are basically 2 different types: one is alcohol induced and the other one is non alcoholic. The first one as the name says; happens because of the excessive alcohol consumption. It results to swelling of liver and also the right side of the organ also gets a bit tender. On the other hand, if the fatty liver happens because of other reasons then there can be some fat build up in the liver. Both can damage the liver and can be recognized by symptoms like jaundice, high fever and spider veins.

One can also use an Ayurvedic liver tonic for fatty liver to get relief as well. When it comes to Ayurveda, liver is said to be the Pitta or the fire because this is very much related to digestion. Liver must remain in a healthy condition in a human body so that it can aid the digestion process and also flush out the unnecessary toxins from the body. If the liver gets loaded with alcohol, fats and other toxins then they have to work too much to get rid of them. Hence one needs a lifestyle and a dietary change to make the condition better.

There are some herbal preparations in Ayurveda that can support to fatty liver healing. One needs to avoid fried and spicy foods along with fatty meats because they can make the liver over heated. One also needs to avoid all kind of alcoholic drinks. They must not eat acidic fruits but instead of that they must go for the non acidic ones like mangoes, melons, berries, pomegranates and pears. Eating vegetables is also very necessary in these cases and they must be served only after they are lightly steamed. One can have Triphala (an Ayurvedic herb) on a regular basis because it can help the liver to balance the digestive system. Aloe Vera juice can also keep the liver cool. But before having them one must consult an Ayurvedic doctor. They also might suggest an Ayurvedic liver tonic for fatty liver for daily intake.

Otherwise, at home, one can boil a glass of water and then let it become warm. Then add some fresh lemon juice into it and mix it well. This one has to drink in an empty stomach every morning. One can also grate a few Indian gooseberries and mix it with cooked vegetables and eat them. One can also boil water with lemon juice and a pinch of turmeric and then brew it and drink it. Having a glass of fenugreek soaked water every morning can also help.
One must remember that fatty liver develops over years and it also takes time to heal property. So, one has to be patient and be regular on the food and lifestyle habits. Also they must work on reducing their stress and get some good sleep.
