• It is always a good idea to get a reservation of the flight itinerary when one is submitting their Schengen visa application. It is not possible to buy the actually flight ticket before getting the visa approved (because if the visa is rejected then the money will be wasted), hence a reservation can serve the purpose.
• One can also produce a proof of their accommodation or hotel stays. But it is not suggested to make accommodation booking and reservations without the visa getting approved. It may happen that the visa might not get approved at all or there is a huge delay in the process and one has to change their travel plans accordingly. Then one has to pay a huge cancellation fee because of the pre bookings.
• The passport has to have 2 blank pages left and they should be valid at least for 3 more months. If one has an old passport then they need to submit that as well along with the visa application. If one is a minor then the application has to be filled and then signed by both the parents and the photo copies of the parent’s passports should be submitted along.
• There has to be a personal cover letter explaining the purpose of the visit of the applicant as well. One can add the travel itinerary and the documents along with it.
Apart from all these things, one has to provide all their employment details (if they are employed) along with their bank statements to get it done.
