This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for Solicitation HSSS01-17-Q-0293 for sole source procurement. The Government intends to negotiate a firm fixed priced contract with Schneider Electric IT USA, Inc. for the acquisition of preventive maintenance, testing, and emergency repairs. Schneider Electric is the only vendor which can provide the services because Schneider Electric is the original equipment manufacturer and the only authorized field service provider for the USSS UPS System. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334512. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in responding to this notice. This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Website (www.fedbizopps.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Only written responses sent via electronic mail to [email protected] will be accepted. The responses must be received within three (3) calendar days of the date of this notice. The Government will not be responsible for any costs in the preparation of responses to this announcement. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
