Ragging in India has become a deep-rooted problem especially with the rising number of incidents of ragging in colleges and ragging in educational institutions. Ragging has been widespread in the institutions and has its own problems and impact. It is found that in India, nearly 40% of students canvassed reported being ragged, and 4% severely hurt.
