Eligibility Criteria for TDS Return filing

TDS return filing is compulsory under the Indian Income Tax Act, 1961. TDS return filing can be filed by employers or organizations who avail a valid Tax Collection and Deduction Account Number. Any person making specified payments as mentioned under the Income Tax Act is required to deduct tax at source and need to deposit same within the stipulated time.
