Welcome to River View Cabin on the Skykomish River at the base of almost 6,000 feet high magnificent Mt. Index. There is stairs to your riverfront grassy yard. The view from the cabin windows, the hot tub over the river, and deck is a unique and unsurpassed experience -- a relaxing and inspiring way to view the wild beauty of the dramatically beautiful Cascade mountains. This part of the river is natural habitat for salmon and trout that are beautiful to observe. Fish from your beach or flyfish. Bring an inflatable boat or kayak to explore this calm part of the river. Observe up close the resident river wildlife such beavers, otters, ducks, eagles, and herons. The cabin is 464 square feet each floor, is fully equipped, has Wi-Fi, electric heat, word burning stove and firewood, a washer/dryer and laundry soap, stereo for iPhone/iPod, and satellite TV with DVD. The 45 square foot bathroom, with sunny yellow walls and panel, has a shower, sink, toilet, bath towels, body soap, and hair dryer. We provide hot tub towels. You only need to bring change of clothes and food to cook. There is queen size bed on the first floor with 2 inch memory foam, flannel sheets in the winter/fall and cotton sheets in spring/summer, and 2 blankets and a quilt. On the second floor is 2 full size beds. Both floors have view decks. Your dog is welcome. The cabin is 28 miles from Stevens Pass, and 8 miles from restaurants, grocery store, and gas stations in Gold Bar.
