When we, the Trevino family, took over the ownership and management of La Mexicana, it had been a Mexican food market since 1968. We have used our expertise to transform the original Mexicana into a full-size, full-service restaurant since 1982. The menu reflects our knowledge and desire to provide authentic northern Mexican home-style dishes. Our personal supervision of all aspects of food preparation insures the use of only the best and freshest produce, grains, dairy products, and meats. This gives you the 100% authentic taste that makes our varied menu so tasty and appealing. The best corn and olive oil used adds to the health conscious preparation of all meals. Striving to add to the "real" Mexican flair of our restaurant, the panaderia (bakery) with its grand array of pan dulce, was added in 1992 for your added enjoyment. Our satisfaction continues to be in offering only healthy, wholesome, and flavorful dishes at La Mexicana. Relax and kick back as if you were in your own home. We can host parties up to 20 comfortably, as well as entertain intimate tables of two. Our happy hour is from 4:00pm-7:00pm, Monday through Friday. Enjoy $3.50 margaritas by the glass, and $17.50 pitchers for the adventurous. From frozen drinks to mixed exotic flavors and even wine, we can cater to whatever's tempting your taste buds at the time. Our patio is the perfect setting for relaxing and good conversation. You can spot the grass roof from blocks away. During the fall and spring come early, because seating is limited and in high demand. Call in advance or just show up and place an order, and we'll send you off with a meal fit for a king. Perfect for office breakfast and lunch, or just surprise your loved ones with a perfectly prepared authentic Mexican dinner.
