I'm Chris Harker. I once lost a much loved and precious cufflink and wondered how to replace it. This started my remarkable journey. I thought there must be a better way to create cufflinks and service customers – I wanted to create a brand of distinction underpinned by strong designs and quality. (I also wanted to create a unique service – if you lose a ONE BOND STREET cufflink, we will replace it).
I am an engineer by qualification but an artist by heart. I am passionate about build quality and great design. I like fine jewellery and considers a cufflink to be the perfect small canvas on which to create powerful imagery and content.
All of our products are designed by the individuals who regularly use them. Sterling silver cufflinks coated with rhodium for enhanced beauty and longevity are ideal in size and weight, balancing the cut of the sleeve. Our solid felt lined wooden cufflink boxes with a distinctive lacquer finish comfortably accommodate the proudest of collections. Our bangles are all open cuff and solid sterling silver thus allowing them to be manipulated on the wrist.
The designs are unique as they incorporate treasured symbols and content, such as the classic roundel cufflink collection inspired by the RAF Spitfire roundel, the cufflink boxes named after the Silverstone race track corners and iconic heritage and classic designs to name but a few. Every product has its own story whether it incorporates carbon fibre from a racing car or metal from a 747-400, salvaged from a breakers yard in Gloucestershire, UK.
