Famously known as the set for the Academy award-winning play “On Golden Pond” by Ernest Thompson, every detail of this home has been designed for families and friends to make the happiest of memories together alongside the serene shores of Squam Lake.

Exclusively located on the Squam Channel between Big Squam and Little Squam, our home offers guests over150ft of private shoreline to enjoy. Listed as one of the “1,000 Places to See Before You Die”, we provide kayaks and a stand up paddle board (SUP) for our guests to enjoy all of Squam Lake's iconic natural beauty.

In addition to the lakefront access, we are just steps away from the Squam Lake Natural Science Center, Downtown Holderness as well as boat launches/boat rental facilities. We are walkable to the Squam Lake Marketplace and Walter's Basin for stunning, waterfront dining views. Come enjoy all that New Hampshire’s Lakes Region has to offer!

In our home, guests will have full access to the property including three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, an outdoor half bath, a spacious open concept living room/dining, as well as our fully stocked modern kitchen. Walk into a stunning entryway and immediately feel the history of this home. The original stain glass windows from the Church line the front of the house and the abundance of natural light throughout the home is unparalleled. There is a full bathroom with custom tiling and a large shower at the front of the house. In all our bathrooms, we provide locally made hand soaps and toiletries for our guests to use. Additionally, you’ll find two spacious guest rooms with a queen bedroom and a full/twin bunk respectively. Both bedrooms have custom closets for you to unpack and make yourself at home.

The fully stocked kitchen has water views, stainless steel appliances, an island for additional seating, and all the pots, pans, plates, cups, and silverware you could need. We also provide plastic dining ware for outdoor dining on our patio. The kitchen opens up to a spacious and bright living room where you'll find two Pottery Barn couches, a gas fireplace, flat screen Smart TV with cable and apps for all of your streaming needs, and built in custom bookshelves. The living room also has a stunning antique (non functional) ice box bar that you will be sure to love!

Beyond the living room you will find the master bedroom which used to be the backstage for the theatre! This bedroom has beautiful water views to wake up to as well as a luxury ensuite bathroom with custom tiling, a double vanity, and a large soaking tub and shower.

Outside you will find a patio complete with café lights and a table with 6 comfortable chairs to enjoy meals outside. We also provide a high end Weber grill and complimentary propane. Beyond the patio, the home also has a half bath for use when coming up from the lake or enjoying the outdoors. We provide two complimentary kayaks and a stand up paddle board to bring down to the lake. Lakefront Adirondack chairs are set up for you to relax, watch the boats float by and enjoy the peaceful water views.

Although cell phone service can be sparse in this neck of the woods, we do offer high speed wifi and central air-conditioning throughout the house.

Whipple House Museum and Pauline E Glidden Toy Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Squam Lakes Natural Science Center and Ashland Railroad Station Museum.
