Dr. Sharlin completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and his Podiatric Medical degree at the Dr. William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Sharlin is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgeons. He is active in teaching through the Teaching of Residents affiliated with Weiss Memorial Hospital. Dr. Sharlin has Surgical privileges at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital and hold the distinction of being the first Podiatrist to admit a patient to Michael Reese Hospital.

Dr. Sharlin specializes in Bunion surgery and sports medicine. He has served on numerous medical committee's and maintains privileges at many area surgical centers.
