Doctor Caballero was brought up in a family of veterinarians. He was raised around animals and has loved them since childhood and it was his goal to become a Vet like his father. In 1989 he graduated from Dominican Republic as a licensed veterinarian, he finished his internship at Purdue in 1991 and completed his residency in 2001 from the University of Florida. Dr Caballero then worked with his father at Caballero Animal Clinic for a few years up until he began working at Banfield where he continued working a few years more. In 2005 Sunset Pet Hospital was officially open and Dr Caballero has been working there as the primary doctor and owner ever since. He is a very intelligent hard working Doctor who does whatever he can for his clients and especially for the animals who come in for his expertise.Dr. Caballero enjoys working with cats and dogs and has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery and internal medicine.
