This calming lakehouse originally built in the 1950's rests in the mountains of Appalachia. With views of the water and hills, enjoy what the area has to offer that will help you forget yesterday.
The house has new renovations, knotty-pinewood walls throughout, coal/wood burning stove, garage, carport, back patio and yard with a fire pit, and dock.
*Summer time boat rides are available with captaincy of the owner only (gas included).
Immerse yourself in the wooded area, national parks, Appalachian hiking trails, local wineries and restaurants, fruit picking, and more. There is a weekend farmer's market in the historic town of Warwick, NY only 20 minutes away. Just over the mountain is Mountain Creek, a water and outdoor activity, and winter skiing resort. NYC is only a 1 hour drive (or take the public bus to and from town at West Milford Park and Ride: NJ Transit bus 197).
The lake often freezes over in the winter months.
*The home owner can be present to provide hospitality services such as cooking, cleaning, turn down services, building campfires, boat rides, and services guests require at an additional fee.
