Tivigny (say ‘Tiv-in-ee’) is a contraction of ‘Petit Calivigny’, the name of the area.
Originally the land was part of the huge Calivigny estate. Donkeys, laden with sugar cane, used to trudge down the footpath to the beach and waiting boats.
Those days are gone, but there is still plenty of activity in the bay, with fishing boats, yachts and dinghies coming and going. From the veranda at Tivigny, you’ll enjoy a grandstand seat for the show!
Located in St. George's, this villa is by the ocean. Grenada National Museum and Carriacou Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Sunnyside Garden and Hyde Park Tropical Garden.
