Stephanie Buchholtz, DVM - GREELEY, CO

A Colorado native, Dr. Buchholtz grew up in Littleton. Given the fact that she couldn't keep livestock in suburbia, as soon as school was out she headed to her grandparent's ranch on the western slope to raise 4-H animals every summer. Becoming a veterinarian was always her plan, so applying to Colorado State was the best way to accomplish that goal.

She married her high school sweetheart, Brett, between her second and third years of vet school. After graduation, they settled in Windsor in 1993. She has practiced in the Greeley area since then, and has been a fixture at Sheep Draw since 1996. Her practice special interests include all things feline and thyroid surgery. She especially enjoys the long-term relationships she has developed over the years with clients and their pets.
While, like most veterinarians, her pets have been varied, her current animals include four cats and an amazon parrot. Interests beyond veterinary medicine include travel, fly fishing, photography, and serving on the board of the Windsor-Severance Fire Department.
