Dave Bloom was the founder of Restoration Physical Therapy. He practiced Physical Therapy for almost twenty one years; seven of which were in private practice; and was well loved by everyone who encountered him.

A certified manual therapist with the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, he received his degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado in 1991. He was a lecturer for the Upledger Institute from 1993-1996. He then lectured independently throughout the United States and Canada.

In December of 2012, Dave lost his battle with Stage IV Mestatic Melanoma. Even throughout his difficult treatments he continued to be a teacher to his colleagues, a loving husband, a beloved father, and an inspiration to his friends, family, and patients. He is survived by his wife Julie and their five boys Ben, Grant, Noah, Spencer, and Turner. He sat on the board of Texas Home Educators Sports Association, and because of his dedicated service, a memorial fund has been set up in his name.
