THE UNIT

We purchased this unit in 2011 and have completely renovated it. Everything, from the carpet on the floor, paint and wood on the walls, full kitchen, both full bathrooms, to the heated tile for the entryways, kitchen and bathrooms.

This the best views of all the units in the complex. This unit is a top floor end unit that has extra windows and decks with southern and eastern views. Most of the decks are covered and provide shade, but part is open to the sun if desired. The deck off the kitchen is much larger than other decks offered at SilverCreek. Views from the decks take in the range that is has restricted access and is designated for Elk and Deer breeding grounds. There is also a pond that Moose come to eat the cattails. Waterfowl, Blue Herring and White Pelican's can be viewed from the kitchen table or decks. A spotting scope is provided for additional viewing or close up views.

We extended the loft, which offers about 20% more square feet than most other loft units at the Inn at Silver Creek. This loft features high ceilings and is very open with a sky light and ceiling fan.

Beetle-kill pine walls and accents give the unit a cozy mountain feel. The timbers used for the stairs and fireplace mantel give it a true cabin feel.

Unlike most other properties on the site, we have a complete kitchen (with a FULL stove and dishwasher). The kitchen features new appliances and cabinets. We like to cook. It's outfitted.

The master bedroom has a king bed with memory foam mattress. A rustic table and chairs give it that mountain feeling. This allows someone to have a quiet place to read or work if needed, or just find a place to chat without the interruptions of the gang. The deck off the master bedroom can be closed off for privacy from the deck off the Den. The master bedroom has a 32' HD Flat Screen TV and ceiling fan. The master bath has dual sinks, an extra large tile shower and heated tile floor.

The 2nd bedroom is the loft. This is the bunk area for guest. It includes a day bed that can be set up as a king or as two twin beds. The loft also has new bunk beds and a comfortable futon and chair that can convert to a twin bed and a full bed if needed. A total of 7 can sleep on the loft. A table and chairs are provided for playing games and cards or can be used as additional eating space.

Living area features a very comfortable leather couch and chair fit for a king. There is free Wi-Fi in the unit. A computer and a printer are available in the convent office center next to the front desk for your convenience. There is a HD 32' flat screen with a blue-ray DVD player (as well as cable). Kitchen table can seat 4-6. The extra deck off the kitchen is roomy enough to seat 6 at the table. Views of the pond, Granby Ranch, and the lights of Granby Ranch (Sol Vista) Skiing can be viewed from the kitchen. The mountain range that can be viewed from either deck offers viewing of Elk & Deer and is designated as breeding grounds during 4 months of the year, restricting human traffic.

A Full Bath has new heated tile floor with dual sinks. If you prefer to relax and soak your tired muscles in private, you can soak in the tub or take a shower if you prefer.

Wi Fi is available in the unit and laundry is coin operated and shared on the first floor.

Ski lockers are provided on the first floor next to the elevator. Ask at the front desk if one is available upon check-in.

Since units at the Inn at Silver Creek are individually owned, the quality of renovations vary greatly. We take great pride in the work and extra touches we put into making our unit special for us and you.

THE AREA

The Inn at Silver Creek is 3 minutes from skiing at Granby Ranch (Sol Vista), 17 minutes from Winter Park/Mary Jane. Just down the road in Fraser, you can go tubing, enjoy a sleigh ride, or book a snowmobile tour. We are 22 minutes from Hot Sulphur Springs, where you can relax in one of their 22 hot pools. We are also witihin 10 minutes from Devil's Thumb and YMCA Snow Mountain Ranch. You can conveniently rent snow skis and snowboards right in the complex and pick them up right in the our lobby.

As for summer fun, we are 10 miles from Lake Granby and just 17 from Grand Lake. Boating and fly fishing opportunities abound, as do places for horseback riding, hot air ballooning, or mountain biking. Granby/Grand Lake also offers access to the southern entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, with Trail Ridge Road taking you over to Estes Park.

OTHER

The Inn at Silver Creek offers many on-site amenities you may not find at other locations. These include a year-round heated indoor/outdoor swimming pool, 4 hot tubs (2 inside, 2 outside), sauna, weight room, 2 racquetball courts, tennis and volleyball courts. The building has elevators to make your stay more comfortable.

There are also a full restaurant and bar, beauty salon, convenience store, and arcade,. Wi-fi is available in the unit and in the lobby/lounge area. If needed, there is a computer and printer available for you to get online that is located next to the front desk.

Laundry facilities and barbeque grills are available on site.
