Craig Ford

For the past 14 years, I have had the honor and privilege to represent District 28 in the state House of Representatives. I decided to run for office because I believe that we need strong leaders who will fight to protect Alabama’s seniors, children, and working families. During my time in the legislature, I have fought to fully fund the state’s Medicaid program and to protect and recruit new jobs to our area. I have also fought to provide more funding for our schools, law enforcement, and firefighters.

My experience began with my father, the late State Representative Joe Ford. My dad was a true example of unselfish service for 26 years. I have strived to continue that tradition through deep commitment and involvement, both in my community and in the legislative process. I have done my best to serve with integrity, and to ensure that we can all take pride in our community. I pledge to you that I will continue to fight for you, and to always put the needs of Alabama’s children, seniors, and working families first.
