Dr. Lusby has performed over 45,000 refractive procedures since becoming a board-certified ophthalmologist in 1980. While he regularly performs a variety of eye surgeries including PRK and Intralase®, the majority of Dr. Lusby’s practice is LASIK. In fact, he typically performs more than 150 LASIK procedures each month.
Dr. Lusby is a graduate of the prestigious Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California. He completed the Basic Science Course for Ophthalmology at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary at Harvard Medical School in Boston before returning to the west coast for his residency at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Dr. Lusby’s outside interests focus mostly on woodworking and sports cars. He also plays the violin, which he began studying at the age of seven. Dr. Lusby and his wife, Jeanee, are proud parents to Kadee, Patrick, and twins David and Chelsea.
