Living in Northern Kentucky can be a wonderful experience for just about anyone. Regardless of your personal preferences, you’ll find a lifestyle that meets all of the needs of your household. The region is made up of three different counties that are all known for their favorable economy, close proximity to the Ohio border and Cincinnati, and an excellent array of public services that are specifically designed to give you a comfortable lifestyle. According to the Northern Kentucky Tri-Ed website,

“The area boasts a wide variety of entertainment options and attractions. With all of the great assets this region has to offer, it’s not a surprise that the Cincinnati MSA was ranked as a Top 10 City for Young Adults by Kiplinger, as well as Top 10 U.S. Travel Destinations by Lonely Planet.”

Residents living in Northern Kentucky will have a lifestyle that will give them the highest level of livability possible.

Healthcare

With 30 general hospitals (20 of them for acute-care) the high quality of health service is available to all of its residents. The St. Elizabeth-Edgewood hospital has been nationally recognized for treating both heart and cancer patients with some of the best treatments in the country. The county has more than 5,700 doctors and 1,200 dentists available to serve the general population.

Entertainment & Culture

There is much to keep residents fully engaged in life with the wide variety of options for entertainment and cultural activities. You’ll live in close proximity to a wide variety of venues throughout the region. Consider visiting the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens, The Beach Water park, Kings Island, Newport on the Levee, Newport Aquarium, the Kentucky Speedway as well as the numerous art museums, ballets, operas, symphonies, and an unlimited number of cultural events and fairs that are held year round. In addition to all of this, sports venues are held to keep residents of all types fully engaged in their personal interests.

It’s easy to see how so many people have found that Northern Kentucky living is so appealing. Part of the reason for this is because of the geographical confusion as to where it is really located. According to Richard Thomas of The Black Table,

“Despite the infamous “Florence Y’all” water tower, Northern Kentucky is so much of a de facto colony of Ohio that Cincinnati International Airport is actually across the river and in Covington, Kentucky.”

The truth is that whether it’s here or there, Northern Kentucky is where everything you need in life all comes together into one grand place where life can be lived with a mint julep in one hand and a piece of fried chicken in the other.
