Karen Gorlewski is an essential part of the clinical staff who works closely with the physical therapists to form a dynamic therapist-assistant team that provides quality care for each individual. From treating an 85 year old grandmother to a 12 year old pee wee football player she always connects with her patients on a genuine level. As a runner and cyclist, Karen is very familiar with the injuries that can occur with these activities and is adept in the treatment of a wide range of sports-specific injuries. On a daily basis, Karen promotes the importance of health and wellness to all her patients.

Education and Certifications

Bachelor in Athletic Training – 1998 – Xavier University
Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant – 2012 Kent State University
Continuing Education – Care of the Injured Worker; Advanced Treatment of the Runner; Treatment of the Endurance Athlete

Karen’s Vision…Having practiced as a licensed Athletic Trainer for 14 years prior to transitioning into the clinic has allowed me to bring a unique and diverse perspective to patient care. I am highly motivated to assure that each patient receives the best clinical care possible by creating fun and challenging rehabilitation programs that help them achieve their full potential.
