Mother-Daughter Day Camp

The Three Cheers for Animals Journey is the first rung of the Girl Scout Leadership ladder. Through learning how to care for animals, scouts learn how to care for them selves and in turn, build self-confidence – a key component of all future leaders. Appel Farm invites moms to join their Daisy daughters at our spring Daisy Day Camp! Moms will participate side-by-side with their daughters as they begin this first Girl Scout Journey. What a wonderful way to celebrate Mother’s Day! Our Spring 2017 date for Daisy Day Camp is:

Saturday, May 6th, 2017 from 9:30 am – 4:00 pm

Highlights of the day include making birdbaths, meeting a zookeeper and some animals from the Cape May Zoo, a Nature Scavenger Hunt, theatre games including improv and role play, and finally a Badge Earning Candle Award Ceremony with an ice cream sundae party.

Cost: $75 total for both the scout and their mom; includes all workshop materials, guest speakers, badges, and ice cream. Reserve by March 15th and receive a $5 discount.
