Appel Farm is an expert at teaching the Visual Arts! During our overnight Crafty Campout, scouts participate in Ceramics, Painting, Drawing and Jewelry workshops in our state-of-the-art Fine Art Studios. Scouts have fun expressing themselves, learning a new art form, honing skills AND building self-confidence under the direction of our experienced professional Teaching Artist staff. Our dates for Crafty Campout are:
April 7, 2017, 6:00 pm to April 8, 2017, 2:30 pm
OR April 8, 2017, 6:00 pm to April 9, 2017, 2:30 pm
Brownies will earn their Painters Badge and Potters Badge and Juniors will earn their Drawing Badge and Jewelry Badge. All while spending a fun – filled overnight campout at Appel Farm that includes a nature scavenger hunt, a campfire, s’mores and an ice cream sundae party!
Cost: Only $75 per scout and $35 per chaperone! All inclusive pricing consists of overnight accommodations for 2 nights in indoor-dormitory housing, 2 meals, s’mores, ice cream, all workshop materials, and badges. Reserve by March 1st and receive a $5 discount.
