Enjoy sitting on the screened porch watching the sunset on the bay, or lounge in the rocking chairs on the back porch while grilling your fresh caught fish. The kitchen is well stocked for all of your cooking needs. The counter height bar seats 6 in addition to the dining table for 8. As an added bonus, there's also a newly built, private, walk-in, outdoor shower complete with hot water and a changing area.... It has a table for 4 and chairs to enjoy a morning cup of coffee while watching the resident blue heron family or the sounds of nature.
An extra fridge in the laundry room is available for use, if needed. All bathrooms as well as the linen closet is amply stocked. You'll find plenty of games, cards, a Wii game system, books, 3 youth kayaks, an adult size tandem Kayak, swings and a hammock to entertain the whole family.
If crowds are what you need, the Gulf of Mexico, with its' sugar white sandy beaches, is just a short drive away. The faster pace of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach is close, but not too close, and offers great restaurants, sightseeing, attractions and shopping. Pontoon and speed boats are available for rent and fishing boats can be chartered for off shore and in shore trips at many of the marinas. Para sailing, Dolphin tours and sailing are also available. If shopping is your thing the Tanger Outlet is just a short 20 minute drive away in Foley.
