Dr. Kerns owned her own practice in Kansas before coming to the Eastern Shore. She holds an associate degree from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa and a Doctorate of Veterinary Science from Kansas Sate University Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Manhattan, Kansas. Her expertise is predominately in small animal diagnostics and treatment, including internal medicine and orthopedic surgery. Kerns states, “I have enjoyed working at Midshore Veterinary Service. The staff are wonderful and part of a great team.” Kerns lives in Easton with her husband and two children
