A wedding is a celebration with which the life of a young family begins, and preparation for it is a real marathon for the bride. Getting married and not losing your mind is not easy, especially when you are an idealist and want to keep everything under control. How to allocate a budget, arrange with parents and enjoy your own wedding. Here we will describe to you some simple rules following which you will receive only pleasure from the process:

1. Seek a Compromise Between the Ideal and the Real
A long time before the marriage proposal, you will hear more than once from others that the wedding is the main event in life, the most important day and other similar statements. Although this moment is really special, it does not end. Remember that after the wedding there is life too.

Just you can decide how to start it, by paying off debts for a festive celebration, traveling or buying your first home. Be realistic in your expectations and look into the future. Having invested all your energy and resources in one day, you risk being seriously disappointed.

2. Plan Budget According to Your Priorities
Throughout the preparation, you will have to constantly look for compromises between what you want and what you can afford. Wedding experts advise starting by compiling a list of priorities in descending order. Focus on the two or three most important areas without which you can’t imagine a wedding.

It can be luxurious looks for you and the groom, top bridal photographer, or good menu and entertainment. Decide what you would like to spend the bulk of the budget on and what can be avoided.

3. Feel Free to Express Your Desires
When preparing the newlyweds are under tremendous pressure from their parents as often they are not just guests, but the main sponsors of the celebration and therefore dictate the conditions. Nevertheless, this is your holiday and you have the right to declare your preferences.

Speak clearly about how you would like to spend this day. The opinions of others can be very loud but this is not a reason to abandon your own preferences. If you want a pantsuit or bright outfit then the hell with a traditional white dress. Know how to insist on your own and you will not have any regrets.

4. Consider the Opinion of Loved Ones
Talking about your desires doesn’t mean that you neglect the desires of others. Try not to put ultimatums and at least take into account the interests of the guests. Ask your parents without what they can't imagine a wedding. Maybe a small trifle like something blue in your appearance will make them happy.

Make a small compromise, so you show respect for the older generation and do not ruin the relationship with your family. Gather as many opinions as possible from the guests, but let the last word be yours.

5. Learn to Delegate
Even if you are a great organizer, do not try to do everything by yourself. Decide what steps you can entrust to other people and do not try to control them every minute. Choose several responsible friends and distribute responsibilities between them. If you delegate tasks from the very beginning, the fate of the celebration will not depend entirely on you and you will get rid of the enormous load.

For a major celebration, it makes sense to hire an organizer as a competent manager will help to avoid unnecessary expenses and really feel like guests at the wedding.
