Kathryn's on Moon Lake, established in 1939, specializes in steaks and seafood as well as homemade gumbo with fresh shrimp, oysters, and crab! You can still bring your own wine and liquor, and we have the cold beer. The original recipes, including our delicious onion rings and the famous Kathryn's House Salad, have been handed down from owner to owner. Our casual dining atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The current owners are Patricia and Gene Hymel. Gene brings his New Orleans recipes and love of fine food to Kathryn's. Patricia grew up in Coahoma County, and came to Kathryn's with her parents when she was a child. Kathryn's is located on beautiful Moon Lake in Coahoma County, Mississippi, home of the blues. Clarksdale is 22 miles south, Tunica is 22 miles north, and Helena is just across the river. Wherever you are staying, Kathryn's is well worth the short drive.
