Here is a place where you can play hard, or just hang out and relax. This beautiful cabin will make you feel right at home. With top-notch beautiful furnishings throughout and with 1,250 sf of space, it is a great place from which to enjoy the resort. You are right on the slopes by the Buttercup Chair, with great views of the mountain on one side, and views of the forest, with Lake Cascade and the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness in the distance, on the other. It is a wonderful place to read, relax, or enjoy some movies, with a DVD library that will keep the adults and kids happy. There is even a private outdoor hot tub with views of the slopes for additional relaxation! The fully equipped kitchen allows you to fix any of your favorite meals.
The master bedroom has a king bed with a memory foam mattress that may be one of the most comfortable mattresses you will ever sleep on. From the master bedroom there is access to the covered deck as well as a soaker tub in the bathroom. Upstairs there is a bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom and a single on top, plus a pullout single trundle bed underneath. The upstairs bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a shower.
Tamarack is one of Idaho's treasures, with great alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, biking, hiking, boating, and nature viewing. Beautifully designed, the resort has an ambience that immediately brings a sense of relaxation and being a part of nature.
The resort has won multiple awards and accolades including Ski magazine's Best of the Blues, Rookie of the Year for the West Bliss run, an article in the New York Post entitled, 'Five Slopes You Have Never Skied (But Probably Should)', an article in USA Today entitled 'Ten Great Places to Pursue Your Halfpipe Dreams', as well as a ranking of #3 in the nation for its cross-country skiing by USA Today. More Summer fun is available on Tamarack's IMBA-designed trails. There are 30 miles of trails across open meadows and down forested slopes, as well as a technical skills park. More adventure is available on the nearby Payette River with world-famous Class IV runs for the experts, and more family-friendly rapids ranging from Class I floats to Class III rapids.
The keyless entry system allows direct access to our place without having to check in or pick up a key. You should be aware that there is a long stairway from the parking area up to the cottage. It is not appropriate for guests with significant mobility issues.
Update! As of May 31, 2015 golf course and Morels restaurant are closed. We will keep you posted if there are any changes.
The pool, exercise room and outdoor spa at the Osprey Lodge are available. The zip line, half day rafting adventures and mountain bike rentals are also available at the sports dome. Also, there is a marina with all kinds of water toy and boat rentals at Lake Cascade.
Off Season Spring and Fall
All restaurants and resort amenities close during the shoulder seasons. You are truly in a cabin in the woods with the main activities being those that you create: hiking, biking, board games and hot tubbing.
