Your perfect getaway for a peaceful weekend in Montgomery County's beautiful Agricultural Reserve. We are located about 10 min from Poolesville and 20 min from Germantown and Clarksburg. The MARC train to Washington DC takes you to Union Station in 60 minutes (with stops in Germantown, Gaithersburg, etc.).

The studio has a private entrance and a fully equipped kitchen; the comfortable bed sleeps two. A foldout (twin) bed for an adult or older child can be added for a fee, or bring your own baby/infant cot at no additional charge. There is a large closet inside the unit, and more storage space in a hallway closet The bathroom features a shower and a Bluetooth speaker in the ceiling fan to play your favorite music or podcasts while you are getting ready. There is a 57-inch TV with Chromecast. We provide high-speed internet for our guests, but NO cable.

We have horses, dogs and cats on the farm. Guests may bring their well-behaved dog or cat if they are spayed or neutered. They must be OK with cats as mine are partly outdoors. For their own safety, dogs that like to chase horses need to be kept on a leash. Bring your own horse (for an additional fee) and enjoy the many equestrian trails in the area. We are also less than a mile from the Potomac Hunt Club. Woodstock Equestrian Center, Little Bennett Regional Park, the Pony Club and many other horse facilities are just a short trailer ride away. If you are a cyclist, we have many tranquil country roads around the farm that are popular with cyclists. The farm has ample free parking and garage storage space for the bike(s), upon request. Other outdoor activities in the area include hiking, golfing, and kayaking.

The town of Poolesville is about 10 min away. There are dining options, Tractor Supply, Dollar General, and the best hardware store in Montgomery County!

We have several local wineries and a brewery nearby. For shop-a-holics, there are the Outlets in Clarksburg, MD just 20 minutes from the farm.

Located in Dickerson, this apartment is in a rural area and in the mountains. Monocacy National Battlefied and Morven Park are local landmarks, and travelers looking to shop may want to visit Clarksburg Premium Outlets and Lake Forest Mall. Bowl America Gaithersburg and Montgomery County Agricultural Fairgrounds are also worth visiting. Kayaking and motor boating offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking and cycling nearby.
