Dennis Sebunya, DVM- Veterinarian/Practice Owner - DENVER, CO

Growing up in a family that always had several pets at home played an important role in Dr. Sebunya's decision to become a veterinarian. After graduating from veterinary school in 2001, he initially worked for a mixed animal practice and also did some wildlife work. Dr. Sebunya then spent time working in a university research setting before returning to full-time small animal practice. Prior to joining The Vet's Animal Hospital, he spent almost five years in exclusively small animal practice in Parker and Aurora. Dr. Sebunya enjoys the variety that comes with small animal practice and he has a special interest in soft tissue surgery. He is a member of both the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Sebunya is excited to be a part of The Vet's Animal Hospital because this is a practice that truly makes a difference in the lives of pets. During his free time, he enjoys working out with weights at the gym, martial arts, playing guitar, and spending time with his wife, Betsy.
