After 25 years, the Del Mar Farmers Market has the distinction of being one of the oldest markets in the county. If you live in Del Mar you have probably enjoyed the weekly open-air market.
The Del Mar Farmers' Market is a certified Farmers Market that continues to proudly boast of its international cuisine, wide range of art and gifts from around the world, regularly scheduled special events for the family and outdoor flavor, not to mention the freshest and finest meats, poultry, seafood, produce and flowers.
Del Mar homeowners and guests alike have the opportunity to visit the market year round every Saturday from 1-4 pm in the Del Mar City Hall Parking Lot. Don't miss your opportunity to purchase the freshest and most delicious locally grown produce and more!
To date, the founders of the market have provided more than $200,000 to Del Mar community efforts. This year alone, it will give $10,000 back to the community via donations: to purchase a new waste bin for the city; toward funding for the new lifeguard station; to the San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy; to the Del Mar Library; and to Del Mar Community Connections; and for funding scholarships for college students who work at the farmers’ market.
