Barbara, Patient Service Specialist - DECATUR, GA

Barbara Rigne is a Patient Service Specialist at the Select Physical Therapy-Decatur outpatient clinic. She graduated from Alexandria Monroe High School in Indiana with a major in Health Occupations. Barbara has been with Select Physical Therapy for four and half years, transferring from South Carolina.

Barbara has many years? experience in the health field, before working at Select Physical Therapy she worked as a home health aid with C.N.A.. She is a certified Rehabilitation Tech and while she lived in Indiana she worked for a company, supervising the aftercare fitness program, specializing in aquatic exercises and teaching a daily class that was open to the public and former clients.

Barbara was born in Alexandria, Indiana and lived there until she was married. She has lived in all sorts of places: Cherry point M.C.A.S. in North Carolina, Florida, Frankton, Indiana, Charleston, South Carolina, and now in Canton, Georgia. She has enjoyed the experiences from each location but Frankton, Indiana will always be home! Barbara has been married for 22 years; she has a stepson and a grandson, who is 7 years old. Barbara will be blessed with another grandchild in November. Her hobbies include reading, listening to music, she and her husband have several classic cars that they have restored and show in car shows.

Barbara feels that the Decatur clinic is the best because they strive to create an open and inviting atmosphere so their clients feel comfortable as they work to recover or maintain their prior level of function. She loves interacting with people and seeing progress as they recover from surgery or an injury. She feels confident that she can answer any questions a client may have pertaining to insurance, appointments and authorizations, if the answer is unknown, she will find out!
