James Drake is the Center Manager and treating physical therapist at NovaCare’s Huber Heights clinic located at 8412 Old Troy Pike. An accomplished clinician, Jim specializes in the treatment of vertigo, total joint replacements, acute and chronic soft tissue/musculoskeletal injuries, return to work/functional rehabilitation, fall prevention, gait training and balance instability and wound care. With a dedicated focus on exceptional patient care Jim leads his staff in clinical and service excellence while overseeing the day to day operations.

Jim received his Bachelor of Arts & Science degree in pre-physical therapy/psychology from Ohio University and earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Slippery Rock University, in Pennsylvania. His continuing education courses include Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (I.A.S.T.M.), Evidence Based Evaluation and Treatment of the Foot and Ankle, Vestibular Rehabilitation Workshop, and he regularly attends the High School and Collegiate Sports Medicine Conference. In addition, Jim is a Certified Clinical Instructor as attested by the American Physical Therapy Association, and has also earned his Certification by the American Balance Institute.
