619 Gothic Avenue is a smart choice for lodging in Crested Butte due to its central location: about a five minute walk to downtown, and an even shorter walk to the free public shuttle, which means you won’t need a vehicle to get around town and even better, you won’t need to look for a parking spot whenever you hit Crested Butte's main street. Downtown is where visitors and locals alike converge for socializing, dining, shopping and other services.
This property is in a building with just six units total and is known around town for its unusual sloped roof covering the atrium while not only lending character to the individual spaces within, but providing light and solar warmth on cold winter days. Live trees and plants reside beneath the high atrium ceiling, lending the space a greenhouse-like atmosphere.
Beginning in autumn of 2017, the atrium roof will be structurally repaired and have large skylights installed. Energy efficient windows and a redesigned main entry are also planned. The project is expected to be complete at year's end.

This property is on the ground floor and has reserved private parking by the main entry. (Currently reserved parking has been moved to the rear of the building due to the renovation of the atrium roof. Entry is temporarily limited to the back door, which is within a few feet of direct entry into the unit itself). It’s easy to get in and out without climbing stairs or packing into an elevator. The private patio features live plants and convenient storage space for skis, snowboards, bikes and other equipment right by your front door. (This area temporarily closed due to repair work to the atrium roof. Expected to re-open by year's end).
Newly remodeled and redecorated, this unit has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The free shuttle is a block away and a paved bike and walking path at the base of Mt Crested Butte is right down the street. There’s also a playground, and park with tennis and volleyball courts around the corner. You won’t find a more central location with zero traffic noise. In winter, the snow makes everything quiet; in spring and summer months, most of what you’ll hear are occasional bicyclists as they pass by or the chatter of birds in trees across the street.
