Frio Country Resort

Frio Country Resort also known as Frio Country Cabins or Frio Country was established by Kenneth & Barbara Arthur in 1981. What began as a dream for the Arthur family with a few campsites and a couple of cabins has become a family tradition for thousands of “extended family” throughout the years! The Arthurs wanted every guest to become part of the Frio Family and enjoy the beauty of the Texas Hill Country the way they loved it. After the passing of Kenneth Arthur, Barbara decided to downsize and sold the business to her daughter Casey Arthur Whatley and her husband Bryan along with her “other daughter” Patti VanPelt & husband Tommy.
