It's Time for Auto Repairs

Do NOT ignore you car's signs that it needs an auto repair! An auto repair can be daunting to all car owners. However, if you learn how to use your senses properly, your vehicle may very well let you know what the potential problem may be...or at least the general idea of where the problem can be located. Warning signs can be seen, heard, smelled or felt coming from your car if your car needs an auto repair.  The most noticeable alert to all drivers would be the check engine light on your dashboard. If your check engine light lights up, do not panic. Take your vehicle in for a check sooner rather than later to diagnose the problem. However, if your check engine light is blinking, you need to get your ride to be inspected immediately. Do you hear noises coming from your car while you're driving? Droning or dragging noises coming from the back could be your wheels. While squeals and grinding sounds that happen when you are attempting to brake may mean that your car could need a brake type auto repair. Puddles underneath your automobile where you have parked could mean a leak. If you have noticed a bright green puddle, it may be a coolant leak. Or a puddle that is dark red/brown could mean a problem with your transmission, engine oil or brake fluid lines. Any puddle of these varieties should be looked at asap. Another problem could be associated with smoke. Have you noticed smoke coming out from under your car hood? This could be a possible overheating problem and this needs attention quickly. If the temperature gauge on your car's dashboard is going up to high, pull over and call for help immediately. If you see smoke coming from the exhaust, you probably have an oil leak. With any of these warning indicators, or other signs that are abnormal for your car, call your mechanic to get your car in for a check-up.
