I was driving along the other day and I noticed that my car was really pulling to the right. It was quite noticeable. I did not like it one bit because it made me feel unsafe. It felt like I had to really hold tightly onto my steering wheel so that I didn't accidentally drive off the road... or worse yet, hit someone else. I became more concerned each time I had to drive my car. I decided to call my mechanic so she could take a look. We scheduled an appointment for the next day.
When I arrived the next morning for my appointment, my favorite mechanic Sarah came out to meet me. I described to her what had been happening with my wacky steering wheel issues. She asked if I had been noticing any vibrations coming through my steering wheel while driving. I acknowledged that indeed I had. Sarah then got down into a squatted position and began inspecting my car's tires. She mad note of the fact that my tires were worn unevenly.
All of these signs and a quick test drive confirmed her suspicions- my car desperately needed an alignment. Thankfully it was NOT an expensive auto repair service. She did inform me, however, that had I delayed the service much longer, my tires would have been completely ruined (prematurely) and it could have potentially turned into a safety concern.
