Genevieve Bergman DVM - CINCINNATI, OH

Dr. Bergman grew up in Stillwater, Minnesota and began riding horses at the age of 5 with her mother, a horse trainer. Throughout elementary, high school and into college, she rode Arabian horses and competed at a national level. While she enjoyed many disciplines, her favorite was saddleseat especially when riding Casey who was at her side for 25 years. It was through her time at the horsebarn that Dr. Bergman?s love for animals developed.

In 1998, she enrolled at the University of Minnesota as a marketing major. But, after studying abroad in Bristol, England, she knew she had to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She changed her major to Biology as soon as she returned to the USA, and immediately began working at small animal clinics and shadowing equine veterinarians.

Dr. Bergman completed her veterinary degree in 2010 at the University of Minnesota. Upon graduation, she completed a veterinary internship at Stillwater Equine Veterinary Hospital. She spent the next 5 years working as a veterinarian in Minnesota until moving to Cincinnati in 2015. She is excited to work with the amazing staff at Peach Grove Animal Hospital. She is looking forward to meeting you and your pets and helping you care for your pets.

In her time away from the veterinary hospital, Dr. Bergman enjoys spending time with her husband, Gabe and two young daughters, Penelope and Lily. She has Hazel, a Doberman/Lab and a cat Zeus. Dr. Bergman loves cooking and time outdoors gardening. She still rides regularly but is now trying a turn in the Hunter/Jumper arena.
