Richard "Chad" Madarang - CINCINNATI, OH

Chad Madarang is the Center Manager and treating therapist at NovaCare’s Blue Ash clinic, located at 4260 Glendale Milford Road in Cincinnati. Chad specializes in orthopedic and workers compensation rehabilitation treating patients as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations for his clinic. He has extensive knowledge and proficiency in the treatment of lumbar/cervical strain/sprain and radiculopathy issues as well as acute injuries of the knees and post-op meniscus/A.C.L. repairs. But his expertise does not stop there. Chad is a clinical veteran with more than 23 years’ experience in the field treating a myriad of orthopedic injuries and post-surgical interventions and is an expert at soft tissue mobilization techniques, neural mobilization, and core strengthening. He is likewise accomplished in the evaluation, assessment and creation of custom orthotics in the clinic. Always patient-focused he continually seeks to develop more efficient avenues of treatment to influence superior patient outcomes, and his dedication to this task is evidenced each day.

Chad is an alumnus of Southwestern University, Cebu City, Philippines where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Over the span of his career as a physical therapist he has garnered a wealth of knowledge from attending an exhaustive list of continuing education courses, and has participated in numerous workers compensation and sports medicine conferences. In addition, he is certified in the treatment of vestibular disorders and the Graston® Technique, an advanced method of soft tissue mobilization to decrease pain and increase function. Chad is licensed in the states of Ohio and Michigan.
