Restaurant Description
Step out of time and into this authentic French bistro in the heart of Chicago's Old Town. The inviting staff and elegant decor are surpassed only by the exquisite and delightful cuisine. The menu features an extensive array of superb selections, including such notable selections as Carre D'Agneau Roti et Persille (Rack of Lamb basted with Dijon Mustard and Garlic Bread Crumbs); Tilapia Aux Noix (Roasted Tilapia with Asparagus, beets, walnuts and Balsamic-Brown Butter Sauce); Duo De Canard (Sliced Duck Breast and Duck Leg Confit with Wild Rice, Pecans Diced Vegetables and Cranberry Sauce); and Steak Frites (Sirloin Butt Steak Laced with Garlic Butter and Pommes Frites). Bistrot Margot is also a perfect setting for special events and private occasions, including business meetings, rehearsal dinners, showers, and luncheons. Events planning coordinator Michele Kowalski will assist you in custom tailoring the perfect menu and party package for your special event. Bistrot Margot is the living dream of Owner Chef Joe Doppes. The restaurant is named after his daughter Margot, and is a family-owned and operated establishment.
