Rustic Italian restaurant and bar in Chicago’s River North neighborhood that features an expansive menu of pizza, sandwiches, plates, antipasti, salads and more. Chef Fabio Viviani and the DineAmic group worked together to create a lively eatery that Chicagoans and tourists will frequent again and again.
At Bar Siena, we offer lunch, dinner, weekend brunch plus a late night menu of food and drinks. Our two-story space features an upstairs dining room and ground level bar for whatever mood strikes you. On the menu you will find an assortment of Italian food, New American dishes and small plates that are packed with flavor. Many of the food items are served Cicchetti-style and are brought to your table for you and your group to share together. Full entrees and pizzas are also readily available for bigger appetites or a main course.
Appetizers include roasted meatballs, burrata, balsamic glazed pork ribs, and chicken wings diavolo. Cheese and salumi plates are available with a selection of artisan cheeses and local or imported meats. Lighter meals we offer include salads such as the Bar Siena chop, which features gin and juice salami, marinated mozzarella, avocado, and a smoked mustard vinaigrette.
Chicago area regulars come back time and again for out unique spin on pasta with favorites such as short rib lasagna or butternut squash and porcini risotto. Pizzas include specialty pies such as the Prosciutto Fig, which combines sweet and savory with spiced pistachio, taleggio, and truffle honey together for a crave-worthy treat. Or opt for a classic, the tomato and Bufala mozzarella pizza, made with basil and extra virgin olive oil.
