About Dr. LaWanna Starks: Dr. LaWanna Starks attended The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 1984. Dr. Starks practiced as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, first at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, then at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Starks is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
