Our founder of Riz iCare, Dr. Ahmed Elakrat graduated from the medical school in Egypt, with an Honours degree in Medicine and Surgery in 1992. He continued his residency at the Ophthalmology department, Benha University Hospital, where he completed his Master of Ophthalmology degree with Honours Distinction in 2000. Dr.Elakratcompleted his clinical fellowship training in refractive surgery at the Instituto Oftalmologico De Alicante in Alicante, Spain.
