Mariposa Ranch Bed and Breakfast is located on a 100-acre working ranch on the historic La Bahia Trail, and offers our guests a choice of accommodations, including houses, cabins, and cottages, most with fireplaces and some with a Jacuzzi-for-two, all historically significant and lovingly restored and furnished in what could be called "casual elegance". Most accommodations are suites or cottages offering our guests the utmost in privacy and comfort. And you can enjoy a horse-drawn buggy ride too! This beautiful setting is literally in the womb of the beginnings of what we know as Texas. This property is historic and is comprised of mostly reconstructed buildings from early Texas (1800s), including one building which was actually THE first hospital in Texas. Located in the rolling hills of the Brazos Valley just a few miles from the Brazos River (just upriver from where Stephen F.
