Meris Clinical Research was founded in 2010 by Dr. Rafael Martinez and Dr. Dragos Zanchi as the research arm of Pulmonary and Sleep of Tampa Bay. Today, it operates independently with three convenient locations in Tampa, Brandon, and Wesley Chapel. Our sites are fully equipped with sleep laboratories, extended-stay quarters, and the highest safety standards - each embedded in Joint Commission - accredited practices, making us the only ambulatory trial sites in Tampa Bay with this designation. Led by board-certified physicians in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, Sleep Medicine, and Nutrition, our experienced team specializes in Phase II - IV clinical trials across areas such as asthma, COPD, lung fibrosis, sleep medicine, cardiovascular.
