New here, does any know how close to a lime tree that is on a grass verge outside you can build. I want to build a new bungalow and were 12m away and no planning or highways issues only landscapes want it refused even with an arb report.they say future occupants will put pressure to remove it,and the impact of the tree .6 weeks into my application the parish got a tpo on it after 60 years.Does anyone know where I can find safe distances to build as this seems a very grey area.the council are saying it could double in size in the next 60 years and is that good enough reason to refuse us.
please help.
Thanks.
