Dr. Perkins graduated from VA-MD Regional Collage of Veterinarian Medicine in 2001 with a degree in mixed animal medicine. Dr. Perkins moved to Big Bear Lake in 2004 and started as a full-time associate vet. for VCA Lakeside. In 2005 she started a private large animal ambulatory practice in the Big Bear area. Her outside activities include rock climbing, back packing,hiking, snowboarding, and trail-ruming with her two dogs Byner and Houser.
