The Space:

Welcome to Old Towne Berthoud, teeming with small-town charm and perfectly located to explore the state’s natural beauty. Inside this private, completely remodeled apartment you’ll find all the conveniences to make your stay comfortable, no matter how long you’re here!

The home opens into the cozy living room where you’ll find a comfortable couch, Smart TV, and a small couch should you need to get some focused work done. Further in, you’ll find the eating area and kitchen, with ample natural light for enjoying Colorado’s sunny days even when you’re inside. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to make delicious meals during your stay, and the tastefully decorated bedrooms have full-sized beds, closets for storage, and calming natural light.

There are two bathrooms, one on each level. The main floor has a half bathroom, which houses the laundry room with a new front-loading washer and dryer. Upstairs you’ll find the full bathroom with a shower and tub combo!

Our guests will have access to the apartment and off-street parking. In addition, we offer self-check-in for maximum independence and privacy.

Berthoud is the perfect place to visit if you’re craving that small-town feel while having access to the outdoor activities Colorado is known for. Being located farther out from the foothills gives Berthoud unparalleled views of the Rockies.

The home is located in Downtown Berthoud, with easy access to friendly shops, restaurants, and a taste of the area’s rich heritage right outside your door. You’re blocks away from Roberts Lake Park, Waggener Farm Park, and Fickle Park where you can stroll, soak in the centuries-old homes along the peaceful neighborhood streets, and enjoy a picnic under the cottonwood trees.

There is no shortage of outdoor recreation in the area to soak in Colorado’s natural beauty. Visit nearby Carter Lake, Boyd Lake, Flatiron Reservoir, or Pinewood Reservoir to fish, boat, swim, hike, or rock climb. Or, check out TPC golf course, just minutes away and professionally designed by the PGA TOUR!

If you're looking for a day trip that’ll allow you to set your sights on more of Colorado, visit Horsetooth Reservoir 20 miles away in Fort Collins, Rocky Mountain National Park 40 miles away, or trek the 30 miles down to Boulder! In short, Berthoud is ideally located to experience the semi-rural, small-town feel of Northern Colorado, while still having access to larger cities like Loveland/Fort Collins to the North and Longmont/Boulder to the south, plus amazing outdoor activities and popular tourist destinations.

Looking to explore a little further? Hop onto I-25S to head down to Denver, cut over on I-70W to explore Golden, and go deeper in the mountains to hit up Idaho Springs, Georgetown, Silver Plume, and many more historic towns. One of Colorado's main draws is Rocky Mountain National Park, which can make for a great day trip. Drive for about an hour for a day of hiking, sightseeing, and wildlife viewing. Depending on your destination, skiing is 1-3 hours away. Locals head to Echo Mountain, Eldora (near Boulder), or Loveland (near Georgetown) for a more low-key experience. We're also within 2-2.5 hours of Arapahoe Basin, Winter Park, Keystone, Copper Mountain, and Breckenridge.

This location is the perfect jumping-off point for exploring the best of Northern Colorado, the Rockies, and even Boulder or Denver if you're missing the city life! But, of course, it's impossible to see everything in one visit, so we look forward to hosting you again after you fall in love with Colorado living.

Getting Around:
Downtown Berthoud can be explored by car, walking, or biking. However, adventuring further will require you to get around by car. I-25N will take you to Loveland and Fort Collins, I-25S will take you down to Denver and allow you to hop on I-70 to explore the Rockies. HWY 287 to HWY 119 will take you to Longmont and Boulder.

Berthoud is a semi-rural town in Northern Colorado with great views of the Front Range. There are many areas to explore nearby including Loveland, Fort Collins, Longmont, Boulder, and even Golden, Denver, and mountain towns if you’re up to travel further. Some of the area's best attractions include Carter Lake, Horsetooth Reservoir, Rocky Mountain National Park, Lyons, Estes Park, The Mishawaka, Red Rocks Park & Amphitheater, and world-class ski resorts!
