Dr. Theresa Cianciolo, DVM - BERLIN, CT

While attending veterinary school, Dr. Cianciolo first had to opportunity to spend some time at Kensington Bird and Animal Hospital as an extern. In 1995, Dr. Cianciolo earned her veterinary degree from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. From that point, she spent several years at busy multi-doctor practices in Wolcott and Prospect, CT. When, in 2000, Dr. Giddings sought her out as a new associate, Dr. Cianciolo realized that she did indeed wish to focus on avian and exotic medicine and she joined the practice. Dr. Cianciolo purchased and became owner of Kensington Bird and Animal Hospital in 2005 and has pledged to maintaining the integrity and reputation of the practice built on over twenty years’ worth of service. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Association of Avian Veterinarians, Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians, and the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, canoeing and spending time with her beautiful, young son. She shares her home with her four cats including 21 year old Taylor; her Dusky Pionus, Basil; her Green-Cheeked Conure, Morticia; and her terrier mix, Maggie.
